Instagram post 2272817747973241806_21045949 It’s been a long time since I’ve done yoga, but since I have a little more time at home, I’m slowly getting back into it.⁣ ⁣ One of the silver linings of #socialdistancing is our ability to catch up on those activities we have put off because we “don’t have time”. What are you getting into while you’re in the house?⁣ ⁣ Here are some ways to make the most of your time:⁣ ⁣ ✨ During study sessions with the kids, ask them what THEY are interested in learning. Now, more than ever, is the perfect time to connect with your child’s education.⁣ ⁣ ✨ Find creative ways to connect with your loved ones from afar. My son and I have started writing letters and decorating cards to our family around the country. It’s been a fun creative outlet for both of us.⁣ ⁣ ✨ Host a cooking show in the kitchen! For dinner yesterday we played “shop the kitchen” and we each had 5 minutes to go the cabinets, fridge, and freezer to find ingredients for our culinary masterpiece 🤣⁣ ⁣ Above all else, I am trying to show my son that this time in the house is more than just an extended Spring Break. It’s our responsibility to help others stay safe by keeping our distance. And hopefully our tiny bit of cabin fever is a small price to pay to help slow the spread of #coronavirus.⁣ ⁣ ✨ #flattenthecurve ✨⁣ ⁣ @who #ViralKindness #Covid19 #keepyourdistance #safehands

The boy has blown through all the work sent home on Friday, so now I’m printing worksheets and activities from the @survivinghomeschool FB group! Have you gotten out of the house at all this week?
