I had to turn off the news and social media for a bit the last few days. But when I got back on, I was so happy to see people encouraging each other, instead of tearing each other down. At least that’s how my timeline was set up. Because I had already purged the negative vibes from my follow list.

If it’s not teaching me, encouraging me, or positivity impacting me, I can’t consume it, anymore. Sometimes ya gotta quit things cold turkey.

Except wine. 🍷 That’s one of my love languages lol.
Speaking of wine... I got a package from @nakedwinesdotcom! I can’t wait to show you what I got!

My evening reminder to lay out my workout clothes

My evening reminder to lay out my workout clothes and fill up my water bottle to get ready for tomorrow.

I’ve always noticed that my first of the year goals are super unrealistic, without any clear plan for how I’m going to achieve them. And if 2020 taught me anything, it’s that we deserve to extend ourselves grace.

So I’m not making any big declarations or resolutions.

I’ll just be monitoring my choices. And choosing those things that will make my future self happy.

I had been doing so well with my morning routine- up when the alarm goes off, workout or yoga, breakfast, off to work!

But one of the biggest keys to a good morning routine is a good evening routine the night before. And that’s where I messed up 🤦🏽‍♀️

I got so excited about building a new website that I ending up working on it until 4am. I was getting in the bed, just as hubby woke up to get ready for work lol.

Now my coffee pot and I are bffs ☕️
Good thing tomorrow is a holiday!

Christmas Presents! 🎁 Hubby has asked me over

Christmas Presents! 🎁

Hubby has asked me over and over what perfume I had been using because he loves it.

But it’s not perfume. Since quarantine started, I’ve only been using the @lovebeautyandplanet body wash and lotion.

This one is Murumuru Butter and Rose, but I love the Shea Butter and Sandalwood too! And best of all, their mission is dope 🥰

Good morning, and welcome to morning yoga in the bed!

I have been adjusting my morning routine to find the perfect way to get my day started, and today I tried adding in a few seated yoga poses from the bed to wake myself up.

This felt sooo good, especially when I was able to stretch my legs out further than I would have been able to on the floor.
